Located in Mesa Verde National Park at the pullout for the interpretive sign "Mesa Verde and the Dine'" off of Wetherill Mesa Road. This road is only open in the summer.

Marker is a silver disk about 1.5" in diameter set on a one-foot vertical rod stuck in the ground. The rod is approximately 25 yards beyond the end of the paved overlook path at the pullout.
