Stumbled upon this benchmark while ATVing Crystal Mountain back in August.

To access this you need to either take the moody hill "challenge" or drive through the residence area off of Crystal Mountain road.

The easiest access is from Hwy 34, turn north on County Road 27 towards Masonville, CO. At Masonville turn Left and continue to follow the road until you seen Buckhorn Canyon CR 44H.

Moody hill is about 2 miles in, Crystal Mountain road is not marked but should be approx 4-5 miles in on 44H.

This mark was recovered in August when I tripped over it. Took some photos, looked it up in the NGS database and it isn't listed. This disk is nearly unlegible but probably from some late 1940's mining.

Since you've come this far, why not snag another waymark?
