This pool is the only one of its kind in Bedford. It offers fun elements to swimming. There is a whirlpool for soaking in, water slides to splash in, a wave machine for enjoying and a fun outdoor circular area to zoom around in. I had great fun here as a kid.
The website describes the pool:
'The Oasis operates it's Pool Programme in accordance with Bedfordshire Schools. We are aware that some schools out of the area may have slightly different holiday times and we do endeavour to incorporate these wherever possible. All features will be available all day during the holidays and weekends and from 4.30 pm: Monday to Friday during term time. Waves only will be available from 12.00 pm.
The Facility
Far away from crowded cities is a place where a tropical paradise awaits you and your family. Located on the outskirts of Bedford you will find Bedford's own indoor tropical paradise the Oasis. The warming sun shines down on to the crystal clear waters with temperatures into the 80's. We are the pool with a difference! WAVES! FLUMES! BUBBLES! WATER CANNON! WATER MUSHROOM! BUBBLE BEDS! BUBBLE BURST! And in the summer OUTDOOR RAPIDS! We have it all: something for everyone.
OASIS BEACH POOL offers a variety of swim sessions ranging from parent and toddler to adult only. You will also find Aquarobics, both daytime and evenings and suitable for all levels. Here at OASIS our aim is for you to have a safe and enjoyable experience every time you visit.'
