Located approximately two and one half miles west of Alma. From Highway 9 at the town of Alma, follow the Buckskin Gulch Road two miles, than east one half mile to the cemetery.
Alma cemetery is one of the oldest preserved cemeteries in Colorado. Records are not listed by block or plots.
The land was deeded to Alma by a grant signed by President Theodore Roosevelt.
There are many graves that are marked and unmarked. It is hard to determine how many graves are in this cemetery. All the graves seemed to be scattered and not in any particular plot.
