Located northwest of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Big White Gap is a remote gap with a rough road running through it.
On the northwest side of the gap is Horse Canyon. In the east side, White Gap Draw feeds into Kerr Canyon and Choases Canyon. Nearby is White Gap Tank.
Also nearby is Little White Gap, a slightly higher gap in elevation that is north of Peak 6226.

Access:
The gap is accessible through a rough county road (Four-wheel drive required).
If coming from the north, get on Las Uvas Dairy Road from Highway 26. Follow this until the turn-off for County Road E-002. This will lead to the gap.
If coming from the south, follow Corrolitos Road (I-10 exit 127) north. At the end of the pavement (before the locked gate), the road will become dirt and head northwest. At the fork, make a left.
There is also an access point from County Road E-006, which I believe is the other road in the fork from Corralitos Rd (also known as County Road D-012 at this point). At the fork, turn right.
