The bike trail starts at the Tarpon Bay Explorer Nature Tours and Rental shop. The ride starts going West on Sanibel-Captiva Road, you enter Ding Darling Nature Refuge, loop all the way through and come back out on San-Cap Rd, going East, back to Tarpon Bay. The full loop is 13 miles.

Short description of trail:
The trail is both paved and crushed gravel. Very flat. Going through Ding Darling, you will see lots of nature. Our favorites are the birds: Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Little Blue, Reddish Egret, Roseate Spoonbills, Osprey, Comorants, Anhinga, Yellow Crown Night Heron.
