This is another historical marker at the corner of Broomes Island Road and Mackall Road. There is a small spot to pull over across the street or you can parking at the funeral home.

Veitch's Cove
James Veitch, born 1628 in Roxburghshire, Scotland. Settled at Veitch's Rest, an original land patent granted by Lord Baltimore in 1649. Sheriff of Calvert County 1653 - 1657. Died 1685.

As mentioned there is a spot to park across the street for viewing the marker or people can park at the funeral home across the street as well.
