This 2 1/2 story brick house in the Johnson Park neighborhood of Buffalo was once the home of Grover Cleveland. He lived in this house while he attended law school in Buffalo. The house was built in 1856 and is Italiante style with an added Greek Revival front porch.
Cleveland was elected mayor of Buffalo in 1881 and governor of New York in 1882. Then in 1884 he was elected President of the United States.
