Located at 217 Chester Avenue a quarter mile or so from downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district. This house is absolutely massive. it could be a hotel. it has at least 12 rooms if it has one.
The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1870. 2 ½ story mansarded house with Colonial Revival porch, frontispiece with traceried transom and sidelights, and fluted pilastered surrounds. Entablature lintels, 12/1 double hung sash, and paneled shutters at first floor, flush lintels, 9/1 double hung sash, and louvered shutters at second floor. Bracketed cornice, slate mansard, dormers with flat cornices and scrolled bases. - Contributing.”
