This garden features seasonal flowers, perennials, herbs, ornamental grasses, rock garden, children's garden, and a butterfly house.
The garden began in 1937 after Hershey Company founder Milton S. Hershey was asked to sponsor a garden in Washington DC - his response was to to instead establish a garden locally to allow the community to enjoy it!
It started as a 3 1/2 acre rose garden, and within a few years grew to the 23 acres it encompasses today.
The garden also features numerous benches, fountains, food, and of course - a gift shop.
