DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 12.5 MI S FROM BEND. 12.5 MILES SOUTH ALONG THE DALLES - CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY FROM THE RAILROAD STATION AT BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, AT LAVA RIVER CAVE, AT MILEAGE 154.3, IN THE STATE PARK, 170 FEET WEST OF THE HIGHWAY, 100 FEET NORTH OF THE LAVA FISSURE, 35 FEET EAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE PARK CABIN, IN A TRIANGLE FORMED BY THREE TREES, IN TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 10 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. A UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY STANDARD DISK STAMPED 4507.402 1927.
