In May of 2008, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs opened their home season in their new ball park, Regency Furniture Stadium. The stadium seats 4,200 fans in the box seats with additional area just over the right field wall. The ballpark also boasts a spaceous kids' area and even bumper boats.
The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are owned by Baltimore Oriole Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson.
