I love the front of this business. There is a black and white 1-inch tile floor which extends about 10 feet into the business. The recessed entry is kind of neat too. Most of the businesses have entries which are flush with the front facade. Currently, this is the home of Workman's Bike Center. This site shares its location with 77 East Main Street. For some reason these are the only two structures on Main Street which are duplexes, seemingly (but not for certain) from a single structure and also have two separate listings on the contributing structure list.
The narrative mailed to me from Washington, D.C. reads:
"c.1925. 1-story cast stone commercial building. Glass shop fronts, black and white tile floor, recessed entry of double doors below multi-light transom. Molded cast stone surrounding shop front and below parapet roofline. - Contributing.”
