Station Nieuweschans is the station of Nieuweschans in the province Groningen. It is the end of the track line of Groningen to Nieuweschans and lies on short distance of the German border From Nieuweschans the line cross the border by to 'Leer' in Germany. This line part was opened on 26 November 1876. Because of bad maintenance and large convalescence work this line has not been limited some years. Since 2002 the line in in use again.
