Harmony Valley Park is a large parcel of land (75 acres+) with a combination of wooded and meadow lands. The off-leash area is approximately 25 acres with multiple access points. There are a number of trails that enable dog owners to hike through a natural setting allowing their dogs to run off leash (for a trail map, visit www.harmonydogpark.ca/pdf/hv_map.pdf). Harmony Creek also runs through the area, providing a place for dogs to go for a quick swim.
The parking is on Rathburn St. in Oshawa, ON and could use some improvements. Due to the popularity of the site, parking can be tight during busy times.
There is a garbage bin and information board just outside the entrance of the park and though it is encouraged for owners to bring their own bags, there are biobags available.
Additional trails in Harmony Valley Park are available for leashed walks.
