The park is located just above the city hall and police department in Sand City. There is play equipment and picnic tables. It does have a nice view of the dunes and the pacific ocean.

Sand City Introduction
Sand City was incorporated in May 31, 1960, as a general law city. It was then converted to a charter city in April 1995. The City operates with a council/administrator form of government. The City encompasses approximately 350 land acres; located on the Monterey Peninsula, approximately 120 miles south of San Francisco.
The City has 1½ miles of coastal frontage along the Monterey Bay, and the City limit extends approximately 2 miles into the Bay. The scenic Highway One freeway bisects the City length-ways from north to south. Sand City has a population of 310 full time residents at present. However, the City has a commercial base that provides jobs for 3,000-5,000 employees and attracts 40,000-50,000 shoppers daily to the City's businesses.
