Originally constructed by the French as a part of the barracks of Ft. Little Niagara, this chimney has been used by the British and by early residents. It has been move twice, first by the Niagara Falls Power Company (for the construction of the Adams Powerhouse) and then again for the construction of the Robert Moses Parkway. Today it stands on the edge of Porter Park near the Daly exit of the Parkway.
