This Museum is operated by the National Park Service. You will have a chance to view the inside of some complete riverboats. One of them was a family operated paddlewheel towboat, the Logsdon. The entire family, including children, lived on the tugboat as it moved sand and gravel up and down the river. You will also be able to operate a virtual tugboat as it moves on the river and go through a lock. If you don't operate the controls properly, you will crash. There are steam boilers on display.

The Riverboat Museum is only part of all the things that you will see here. It is a portion of the National Mississippi River Aquarium and Museum. Entry fee is Adults $9.95, Seniors (65+) $8.95, Youth (7-17) $7.50, Children (3-6) $4.00. Group rates are available, Call for information at 800-226-3369. They are open every day from 10am to 4pm.
