Former Toll House at Chapple Gate, now No. 34, Westgate Street, Launceston, Cornwall. Built by Launceston Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Currently the toll house is used as a private residence with only minor changes to the original structure. This toll house is sited on the A388, Launceston to Pennygillan road. A striking, slate-clad building set above the main road at the junction of lanes into the town. It is attached to a pair of old cottages on Western Road.
