It seems on second street all these grand old houses have been turned into duplexes and given two addresses instead on one. This house fell victim to local real estate pressure as well. At least the outside of both homes matches making it seamless and as close to original as this will get.
Located at 17-19 East Second Street in downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district.
The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1853. 2-story, 4-register double house, now aluminum-sided with two doors with transoms, #19 infilled. 4/4 double hung windows with modern wood louvered shutters, 2-story rear addition. - Contributing.”
