History - Battle of Hanover
The Battle of Hanover was fought on June 30, 1863 with-in the area of the present Center Square of Hanover Borough. The Battle was between Brig. Gen. Judson Kilpatricks 3rd Cavalry Division Army of the Potomac and Major Gen. J. E. B. Stewart's Cavalry Division Army of Northern Virginia.
