Tucked in the residential neighborhoods of Elmhurst, Illinois, is a small liberal arts college called Elmhurst College.
Founded in 1871 as a seminary to train future parochial school teachers. It quickly evolved into a more traditional college, but still maintained a religious base - theology courses are still manditory for graduation and the college is associated with the United Church of Christ.
The theologian Reinhold Niebuhr is probably Elmhurst College's most famous alumnus.
Today, Elmhurst College offers over 50 different majors and plenty of extra curricular activities and sports to educate today's students.
It just so happens cldisme and Mrs. cldisme are proud alumni of Elmhurst College.
