This clock is known as a "slave-clock". The 'master' for this clock was originally located inside the builing with the "slave" located outside for all the towns people to see.
This building has been a bank that was constructed in 1902 and is now in use by another business: Old Bank Christmas & Gifts.
In Oct 2005, the town restored this clock back to working order.
