Kingston Lacy House is now a National Trust property and is located just off the Blandford Road - B3082 in Dorset. The house is an elegant country mansion created by the Bankes family. There are Egyptian collections, a sarcophagus in the garden and beautifully landscaped walkways. Snowdrops adorn the borders in late winter and the grandeur in the house is preserved magnificently.

This sundial is an example of the good condition of many of the artifacts and collections at this property. More history can be found at The Heritage Trail.

Sundial Type: Armillary Sphere - series of rings in plane of equator
