At the base of this large hill, sits a visitors center for those interested in learning more about the Mormon religion. At the top of the hill you will find a wonderful memorial. The visitors center and memorial are open to the public every day, except major holidays. However, in mid-July, the hill turns into a stage with state of the art audio and lighting, thunder and lightning and even earthquakes!! Volunteers come from all over the world to partake in re-enacting the events that led to the founding of the Mormon Religion. The show is free and there is plenty of free parking across the road from the "stage".
