The Gilded Otter Brewing Company is located on Rt 299 (Main Street) in New Paltz, NY. They have good food where you can get burgers, chicken, ribs, salads, pizza, and more. Most meals range in price from about seven or eight dollars up to twelve or thirteen dollars, but they do have a few more expensive items on their menu as well.
They have about eight of their own homemade beers at all times. These include:
Huguenot St. American Lager
This lager has a light body and a delicate flavor, similar to a domestic Pilsner. 3.8%abv
Dusseldorf Altbier
2-Time Bronze Medal Winner, GABF 2001 and 2005
A brown ale, with a toasted biscuit flavor and a medium hop bitterness to give a smooth finish. 5.4%abv
New Paltz Crimson Lager
A sweet malt flavor with a delightful hop aroma and finish. A great red lager. 4.2%abv
Three Pines India Pale Ale
This copper ale is full-bodied and super hoppy. 5.7%abv
Winter Wassail
This full bodied ale expresses a holiday spice aroma followed by a malty sweet finish. 7.0%abv
Belgian Tripel
A full bodied strong golden ale with a mild sweet finish. 9.5%abv -- 8oz GLASS $6.50
Mohonk Munchner Dunkel
Mohonk Munchner Dunkel A deep brown lager with a smooth malty sweetness. 5.2%abv
Stone House Irish Stout
Medium bodied dry stout with a roasted malt character. 4.5%abv
Papa Smokey is quite an IPA lover, so he is fond of Three Pines India Pale Ale while Mama Smokey enjoys the Huguenot St. American Lager.
