The trailhead is located in the Strachan Tract of the Simcoe County Forests and is located off part of the Ganaraska Trail.

There is a gate at the parking area. When the gate is open, there is plenty of parking. When the gate is closed, there is still enough parking but you'll have to park along a laneway. There are three main single track trails that all start at the same point

There are three main trails that are approx 15km in length in this part of the forest and there is no cost to mountain bike on these trails. The trails are a few minutes drive from Hardwood Hills mountain bike centre.
