The town where "Everybody is Somebody", has only two buildings, one of them is a combination saloon, general store and post office, the other is the dancehall, so guess what they do on Friday night and it ain't mailing letters.

There are states of mind, and then there is the state of Texas which has the town with the population of 3 that is known around the world, Luckenbach, thanks to Waylon, Willie and a whole lot of other good old boys. Whether it's just sitting and listening or stepping and strutting, this is the place to do it.
At dancehalls the problem is finding parking after you get to the place, that's not the case in Luckenbach, the problem is finding Luckenbach, the parking is the easy part. That's because the demand for those highway signs is so big, just they seem to disappear into the trunks of visitor's vehicles.
Regular dances are held on Friday nights at 8 pm with an ever changing line of bands. Admission is free and should you get tired of dancing, just mosey outside and sit in on, or join in on one of the many jam sessions that make Luckenbach the place immortalized in the song, Luckenbach, Texas (Back to the Basics of Love), and you may find out why the last line of the chorus goes, "ain't nobody feelin' no pain."
For the one or two people who have never heard of Luckenbach, Texas, here is the link to the town website.
