Located in the Voice of America (VOA) Centre, on land that was previously part of the VOA Bethany Relay Station. Dedicated to vets of all services.
Type of Memorial: Non-Specific Memorial

In Honor Of: no formal listing present

Marker Text:
The only text I noticed from my vantage point was "Veterans Memorial Plaza".

Who Put it Here?: Local VFW group was involved

Description of Memorial:
Located on the edge of the shopping center, on land that was part of the VOA shortwave broadcast facility built here in 1944. It was used to broadcast information into Europe during WW2. The fountain is interesting, but the tubes' meaning eludes me.

Wars mentioned (Multi-war only): Not listed

Date of dedication: Not listed
