Devils Hole is the area where Cull Creek flattens it's descent from Rocky Ridge on the West side of Las Trampas Regional Wilderness. It's a steep area with many picturesque rock outcroppings. There is no firm record why the area has that name, but one
source thinks it may have to do with previous sightings of Black Panthers in the area.
