Five enormous irises (three yellow and two blue) which may be familiar to those of us who visited a certain event in Glasgow during the summer of 1988!

These irises are one of the landmark features of the town of Glenrothes in Fife. However, before they arrived here, they were originally one of the star attractions of the Glasgow Garden Festival.
Standing 24ft high and made of metal and fibreglass, they can now be found adjacent to Leslie roundabout. This is a busy roundabout, so suggested parking for this waymark is at the Riverside Park - N56 12.131 W003 11.058. However, you will still have to cross the road to get to them. It may be possible to park at the pub on the other side of the roundabout but you would then have to cross two roads to reach the flowers.
To bag this waymark, post a photo of yourself and/or GPS with at least one of the irises in the background. Alternatively, email me with the name of the third sponsor listed on the information plaque "Illumination 2004" which can be found directly in front of the irises.
