This caboose was built about 1918 in Muncton New Brunswick and then saw service from Vancouver BC to Edmonton AB as well as Edmonton AB to Prince Rupert BC. It was rebuilt in 1952 and painted the distinctive orange with the CNR maple leaf logo on each side. Just after that it was assigned to Vancouver Island where it was used in log train service to Cowichan Bay. This was the last wooden Caboose used in Canada and was retired from service on March 27, 1988 and donated to the Kaatza Historical Society.
