From Mississippi: A Guide to the Magnolia State - Tour 3a - Greenville section:

In front of the VALLIANT HOME, NE. corner Central and Shelby Sts., a one-story dwelling built in 1866-67, is a large oak tree that illustrates the fertility of the Delta soil and the length of the Delta growing seasons. Planted by Mrs. Frank Valliant in 1867, it was recently estimated to have the growth of a tree 180 years old. Its spread of branches is magnificent.

It appears that both the house and the trees have been replaced since the Guide was written.  The trees in front of the house are very nice but not approaching the "magnificent" stage noted in the guide.
