See historical marker image. Shows serious signs of neglect. Also the final resting place of Susan Defoor and her husband Martin who was a well-known ferry operator on the Chattahoochee River. The Defoors were brutally murdered by axe in their home near the intersection of present day Bolton and Marietta streets on July 25, 1879.
