This is a groomed beach with sheltered picnic areas and public restrooms, and showers. Across the street is a dog park, and in the middle of the beach is a civil war era fort that houses a local garden club. There is a volleyball net, and many watersports are available for rent on the beach. There is free public parking.
Park is open from 6am to 11pm.
