The owner of this Anchor is very friendly, but out of respect please remain on the public road. There is no historical information about the anchor but the owner did provide an interesting narrative described below as if told by him. What is provided is as accurate as anyone can remember but told as if the owner was telling the story.

At one time I had a dog, but I traded it to get a gun. What I really wanted was the anchor and I wanted to trade the gun for the anchor. The man that owned the anchor wanted the gun but his wife wouldn't allow him to trade for it. Several years went by and I had sold the gun when the man that owned the anchor called me. They were moving and wanted to know if I was still interested in the anchor, which I was. But I didn't have the gun, so I traded a motorcycle for the anchor and that is how I came to own it.

As far as he knows, no one knows the origin or history of this anchor.
