Dogwood park is Knoxville's first city-owned off-leash dog park. Located to the side of Victor Ashe Park, Dogwood Park features doggie playground equipment such as a tunnel, incline ramp and a puppy jump. There is a special dog water fountain and an endless supply of tennis balls.
There is a slope to the ground, so people who have problems walking or are pushing strollers, etc might have problems.
*Note on poop bags: There is a bag dispenser there, but it appeared to be stuffed with plastic grocery bags there were brought in by other park-goers. This supply may not be endless, so come prepared just in case.
*People restrooms are available at the adjacent Victor Ashe Park - please do not leave your dog unattended while using them.
