The original church here dates from the late 16th,century,the present one was built to accommodate the growing population of worshippers which grew up around the industrial growth of the nearby shipbuilding industry.
The church is Anglican and was dedicated in 1908.
The Sunday 10am service is well attended,with a congregation of about 130
