Shortly after the first battle of Manassas, the city of Richmond was flooded with wounded Confederate Soldiers. Capt. Sally established The Robertson Hospital.Treated 1,333 wounded and lost only 73.Commissioned as Capt on 9/9/1861 by Pres. Jefferson Davis.
