DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1995 (RPB) THE STATION IS LOCATED NEAR THE NW CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA FE/PRAIRIE CENTER AND HWY K-7 IN OLATHE IN THE HEADWALL OF A MASSIVE DRAINAGE CULVERT. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JOHNSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE ON OLATHE, PROCEED WEST ON SANTA FE FOR 0.85 MI (1.37 KM) TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT JUST WEST OF THE INTERSECTION. THE STATION IS DOWN THE HILL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. THE STATION IS A STANDARD BRASS NOS SURVEY DISK SET NTO A DRILL HOLE AT THE CENTER OF A MASSIVE CULVERT HEADWALL. IT IS 26.99 M (88.55 FT) NORTH OF THE NORTH EDGE OF THE SIDEWALK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PRAIRIE CENTER, 25.05 M (82.18 FT) WEST OF THE EAST EDGE OF THE CURB ON THE WEST SIDE OF K-7, AND 3.34 M (10.96 FT) SOUTH OF THE NORTH END OF THE HEADWALL.

Be careful as the drop to the water below is about 20 feet.
