Much more than just a butterfly park, it is a conservation area set in 10 acres of wildflower hay meadows. As well as a tropical house filled with exotic plants and butterflies, there is a new Adventures of Urchin nature trail, a new informative butterfly video presentation, a new puppet show and a new animal keeper's talk. There is also a mini farm, an adventure playground and a tea room and gift shop.

The aim is to show visitors beautiful butterflies and to help them understand some of the issues surrounding environmental conservation.
