This depot functioned as a stop along the Coudersport and Port Allegany Railroad during the late 1800's (circa 1880). This depot has been refurbished over the years and is now referred to as the Coudersport Boro as it holds the town offices for the City of Coudersport.
Interestingly this depot is also listed on the National Registry of Historic Places due in part to its historic contribution as a transportation means during the turn of the century.
