This is the remains of the drive-in movie located on Babcock Street in Melbourne, Florida. There are no speaker stands or screen but there is a marquee and a whole lot of circular cement curved rows where the cars used to park to view the movies. We remember the drive-in when it showed movies... some 20 years ago. The business became the Palm's 8 Cinema, an enclosed movie theater, and is currently showing movies.
*Note this waymark was submitted in 2008 and has now been accepted. Due to the age of the waymark it is unknown if what was described is still even there so it was changed to "Outdated". The original submitter appears to be inactive, perhaps a visitor can verify whats there now.
