This chimera is situated just above 180cm on the right wall near the entrance to the church of St Mary, Haynes Church End, South Bedfordshire.

It is unusual to find such a chimera situated in such good condition and to be relatively low to the ground. It is a pig or warthog and the moss on its back has given it an authentic warty appearance. Guttering runs beside it and the church entrance is under the arched doorway. The chimera is quite prominent and visible as you walk up the main pathway. Topiary, yew bushes line the pathway and the churchyard is kept in pristine condition.
