This unusual gargoyle resides high up on the tower of St Peter's church, Thurleigh, Bedfordshire.

The gargoyle has vague features notably the mouth as the water spout and two wide eyes. It also appears to have some ears. The tower itself dates from the Norman period and the point is sunken in the top of the tower, made out lead. There are interesting stone features of the church including the windows as can be seen in the photographs.
