The Alpharetta Vietnam Veterans Memorial is located behind the Alpharetta City Hall on Academy Street. **Update - This memorial has been moved to the Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Old Milton Parkway and Westside Parkway.

The Alpharetta Vietnam Veterans Memorial is located behind the Alpharetta City Hall on Academy Street.

The memorial reads:

This Memorial is dedicated to those individuals from Alpharetta who paid the supreme sacrifice in Viet Nam for the cause of liberty and freedom.

Placed by the City of Alpharetta in 1967.

The memorial list the named of those killed in Viet Nam.

There is a second memorial at this site dedicated to those killed in Woirld War I, II and Korea. There is also a flag plaza.
