Quick Description: Rope up and climb an indoor climbing wall - the trick is you'll need someone to take a photo of you climbing the wall. Bonus points for reaching the top! :) Not any wall will work, it must be made for rock climbing and must be a minimum of 15' tall.

Long Description:
Indoor rock climbing is gaining in popularity and now you can even find climbing walls at places like your local mall.

To meet this photo goal you will have to rope up and climb one of those indoor walls. Have someone photograph you while climbing and then tell us a little about your climb. How high was the wall? Was this your first time climbing? Would you do it again?

Our photo is taken at the climbing pinnacle at REI's flagship store in downtown Seattle. The pinnacle is 65' and is the tallest freestanding indoor climbing pinnacle in the world. It weighs 110 tons, has over 1000 climbing holds, and has lights programmed to follow the path of the sun. The wall has several routes to the top ranging from very simple to advanced level, fully horizontal overhangs.

We love climbing the wall and have a tradition of coming every year on the 23rd of December (Hikenutty, Jr.'s birthday) for a family climb. The wall takes your breath away and typically I freeze up around 40 feet and have to take a few deep breaths before I continue to the top. In the photo Hikenutty Junior is climbing a 5.7 level route which included some overhang near the top.
Visit Instructions:
You must provide an image of yourself meeting the photo goal and you must also provide the coordinates where you were able to perform the photo goal. Further story about how you were able accomplish the photo goal and any other activities associated with it would be a great thing to include. We’d love to hear about your adventure!
