On Dolorosa Street, about a block before the city hall and courthouse area, there is a building wall where two painted advertisements are visibile. They are Coca-Cola and Fawcett Furniture.
Coca-Cola - well you know about that one. At that time, bottles were selling for 5 cents!
Fawcett Furniture - from a paragraph on the San Antonio Conservation Society page, it states that Fawcett Furniture has been in existence since 1921 and is one of the oldest family run businesses in downtown San Antonio. I didn't look at the front of the building to see if the the business was still there. On directories seen on the internet, the company appears to be still listed at that location, as well as at least one other location. Visitors can add to their knowledge in their posts on the current state of the business.
