The memorial commemorates those Jacksonville Beach residents who died in World War II. It includes a main plaque listing their names, an American War Mothers plaque, a plaque commemmorating an American War Mothers Memory Tree and small monuments for each branch of the service. It also included a flag pole.
The monument is right on the street corner of Beach Boulevard and 2nd Avenue. There is parking right behind it.
