Blevins Gap crosses a small mountain chain that is seperated from the main Cumberland Plateau by the Flint River Valley. Located within and on the east edge of the city of Huntsville, it is also owned by a land trust dedicated to conservation and available for public access.
This gap has easy access because a road travels through it. The road, once called Four Mile Post Road has been renamed Cecil Ashburn Rd. There is an off-road parking area and trails starting from this point.
